1. They lack purpose
You need to have an objective. If you write a super long and purposeless copy, you will bore your audience. Instead, be quick, smooth, and get to the point!
2. They’re boring
Don’t bore your followers with topics and information that they don’t know about or simply don’t care. Instead, take the time to evaluate what your audience likes (look at your insights!) and create content aligned with that.
3. You play it safe
Take a chance! Be bold! Don’t just type something bland in order to say you posted something. Instead, get out of your comfort zone and be your most authentic self by making jokes, saying something relatable, or just giving it more substance. A caption can be just as important as the image itself.
4. They lack structure
Before writing the copy, sit down and think about what you want to say, and then organize that to see the best way you could deliver that message. Don’t say one thing, then something else, then go back to that other thing, because you will confuse and lose the reader! Remember, short, sweet & to the point!
5. There’s no rhythm
If you want to capture the reader, your copy needs to be smooth, short, and easy to read. Don’t use super sophisticated words! Instead, look for words that sound good together and deliver the feeling you want to portray.
