how to create a good instagram carousel post

1. Get organized

You get a maximum of 10 images, and 2 of those are the cover image and the closure, so you actually have 8. Think about what you’re telling your audience, the sequence, and how many images you need. You don’t have to use all 10!

Remember to think about your audience’s NEEDS. Is what you’re gonna say better off as pictures, videos, or text?

2. Catch attention!

The first image is your cover image, so not only does it need to look extra good because it’s the one you’ll see on your grid, but it also needs to capture your followers’ attention.

3. Make it smooth

Your followers need to glide through those images or videos without even noticing. Make sure your content is super interesting and keeps them engaged.

Grab attention, develop interest, build desire, and end with a call to action.

4. Seal the deal!

We got to the end! This last image could be a call to action, a summary of what was discussed, or even a blooper. You have to make your followers realize that watching all of that content was worth their while.
